Tottenham Hotspur have been monitoring Michael Olise for some time as the Reading starlet continues to catch the eye for the Championship side, according to a report from The Athletic.
Olise has been one of the standout performers in the second tier this season. He scored four goals and contributed seven assists in 20 appearances for the Royals.

In fact, no player in the league has provided more assists than the 19-year-old. So it is little surprise to see that Reading may face a fight to keep the youngster next month.
The Sunday People (20/12; page 53) recently claimed that Crystal Palace and Leeds United were chasing Olise, while 90min suggested that Leicester City are keen.

The Athletic has noted that, in total, half of the Premier League have been linked with the attacking midfielder.
But according to The Athletic, Spurs have been watching Olise for some time. It is suggested that he has an £8 million release clause in his contract at the Madejski Stadium.
The links with Olise have gone down incredibly well with many Spurs fans on social media. Plenty believe that he is destined for the highest level, and they are hoping that Tottenham are the team to hand him the chance in the top flight.
