Tottenham fans react on Twitter to latest Eberechi Eze reports

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun on Sunday (15/3; page 60) concerning Queens Park Rangers sensation Eberechi Eze.

Eze is undoubtedly one of the most exciting talents at any level of English football. He has had a direct hand in 20 goals for QPR this season, with 12 goals and eight assists for Mark Warburton’s men.

It would be little surprise to see Eze on the move this summer. And it appears that Tottenham have moved into pole position to secure his signature.

The Sun on Sunday (15/3; page 60) reports that Spurs are now the favourites to sign Eze, with fellow admirers Sheffield United and Crystal Palace backing away from the race over his £20 million asking price.

The report added that Jose Mourinho’s men could look to propose a swap deal to potentially sweeten any potential bid for the 21-year-old.

And it is safe to say that plenty of Tottenham fans have been left delighted by the reports suggesting that they are now the favourites for his signature.

Many clearly believe that Eze is destined for the very top. And they believe that he could be an inspired addition to Tottenham’s ranks if a deal can be done.

The pressure is definitely now on Daniel Levy to capitalise on the club’s current position in the battle for his signature. Eze looks to be an incredibly special talent, and the Spurs fans want him signed this summer.
