A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Giovani Lo Celso’s display as Spurs secured their first points of the new Premier League season on Sunday.
Son Heung-min will steal many of the headlines following an outstanding display in front of goal at Southampton. The forward four goals as Jose Mourinho’s men came from 1-0 down to bag the win.

The equaliser came in stoppage-time at the end of a first-half in which Ralph Hasenhuttl’s men were much the better side.
However, Tottenham produced a stunning second-half performance to leave the Saints stunned.

The half started with a little confusion for the supporters. Tanguy Ndombele produced a moment of brilliance in the build-up to the equaliser, but that proved to be virtually his last act on the pitch.
He was replaced by Lo Celso. In fairness to the Argentina international, it appeared that few fans had any problem with his introduction, however they were disappointed that it was Ndombele who was taken off.
But Lo Celso certainly managed to vindicate Mourinho’s decision. Many fans felt that his introduction was crucial to helping Spurs take control of the midfield battle.
He provided some moments of real quality for the visitors. And while he was unable to get a goal or contribute an assist, plenty of fans felt that he made a major contribution.
