Tottenham fans react on Twitter to Erling Haaland reports

Tottenham Hotspur may have just been linked with arguably the most exciting prospect currently playing anywhere in Europe, but it appears that many of the Spurs fans on Twitter are not anticipating a move for Erling Haaland taking place anytime soon.

It was suggested by TuttomercatoWeb that Jose Mourinho’s men would be very interested in signing Haaland this summer.

Haaland has been sensational this season. He has scored 12 goals in just 11 games since joining Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window.

But TuttomercatoWeb suggested that he may not stay in Germany for long. It was reported that Juventus continue to follow him closely, while Spurs and Manchester United would be very interested in the teenager.

It would be an incredible piece of business if Tottenham could sign Haaland this summer.

‘In our dreams’

However, it appears the fans are refusing to get even a little carried away with the reports.

Plenty have slammed the suggestion that Spurs could stand a chance of landing Haaland. Several have pointed out that the report may have jumped the gun with April Fools’ Day not til next week.

It is fair to say that the large majority of Tottenham fans on social media are not expecting Haaland to arrive in North London anytime soon despite what is being reported.
