A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail claiming that Spurs have identified Dean Henderson as a transfer target as they considers replacements for Hugo Lloris.
Lloris is currently set to be out of contract at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium at the end of the campaign. And as things stand, no talks regarding an extension have taken place.

It would be a surprise if no discussions took place before the season concludes. He has arguably looked to be back to something more like his best over the last year.
Nevertheless, potential replacements are being considered. The Daily Mail suggests that Sam Johnstone is wanted. Meanwhile, Henderson’s frustrations over his lack of game-time at Manchester United have been noted by those at Spurs.

Henderson has not featured in the Premier League so far this term. Previous reports suggested that United value the England international at around £40 million.
Much may depend on what direction Manchester United go in following the announcement that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has left the club.
But it would appear that plenty of Tottenham fans would welcome Henderson coming in.
