Tottenham fans react on Twitter as TJ Eyoma joins Lincoln City on loan
The defender joined the Imps during January but failed to make an appearance after the season was curtailed
Tottenham yesterday announced that emerging young talent TJ Eyoma has penned a new deal before joining Lincoln City on loan for the 2020/21 campaign.
The 20-year-old centre-back has come through the academy ranks and Tottenham and the decision to hand him a new deal would imply he is highly thought of.
A London-born enforcer, Eyoma played 13 times for the club’s under-23 outfit during 2019/20 and also made five appearances in the EFL Trophy.
Eyoma actually joined Michael Appleton’s ranks last season but the season was curtailed before he could make a single outing for the Imps.

He will be looking to make a big impact on League One and will hope to return to Tottenham a more polished player.
Following news of his departure, Spurs fans have been reacting about the decision, with plenty feeling it’s a good move for the youngster.
Eyoma is strong in the tackle, comfortable on the ball and a real powerhouse of a centre-back.
Cutting his teeth in the Football League looks like a promising step in the right direction for the youngster and it’ll be interesting to see how he takes to men’s football.
Here is a selection of Tweets from Spurs fans regarding Eyoma’s temporary switch to Lincoln.
