A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the news that the club confirmed on their official website concerning Luke Amos’s departure.
In truth, Amos’s future has appeared set to lie away from Spurs for a little while. The 23-year-old had not played for the club’s first-team since making his debut in 2018.

He spent last season on loan at Queens Park Rangers. And Tottenham have now confirmed on their official website that the midfielder has moved to Loftus Road on a permanent basis.
Despite the inevitability of his departure, many Spurs fans have expressed their disappointment on social media in the wake of the announcement.

Amos was the victim of terrible luck during his time with Tottenham. Shortly after making his debut under Mauricio Pochettino, he ruptured his cruciate ligament and was ruled out for the rest of the season.
And plenty of supporters have suggested that, without that injury, he would potentially be in the first-team fold in North London rather than leaving for the Championship.
Some have suggested that it was a real shame that he was not able to build on his debut for the club as he looked to have an incredibly bright future ahead of him.
Obviously, many have backed Amos to be a success at QPR in the coming years. But there is clearly a sense of what may have been had it not been for his season-ending injury almost two years ago.
