Tottenham fans react on Twitter as Brighton eye Kyle Walker-Peters

A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from The Sun suggesting that Brighton and Hove Albion want Kyle Walker-Peters in January.

It would perhaps not be a huge surprise to see Walker-Peters on the move next month. The 22-year-old has made just one appearance under Jose Mourinho, while his last game under Mauricio Pochettino came back in September.

The last few months have certainly hinted that the right-back is going to struggle to secure that first-team spot that he looked destined for when he burst onto the scene.

And Brighton look ready to hand him a fresh challenge when the window opens. The Sun reports that the Seagulls are looking to splash the cash in January and Walker-Peters is one of their targets.

It is telling that many of the Spurs fans on social media seem to be saying a similar thing. It appears that plenty of supporters are ready to see Walker-Peters leave the club.

Some have suggested that it looks unlikely that he will really make the grade at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the future. So perhaps it is time to let him go.

Some have insisted that he should be loaned out first. He is yet to have a substantial run of games to prove himself during his career. And they are reluctant to give a sale their backing until he has had that kind of chance.

Generally, most fans seem to be in favour of some form of move next month.
