Tottenham Hotspur’s pursuit of Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore has been boosted, with Wolves identifying a replacement. Reports from Spain claim Wolves will go after Valencia star Goncalo Guedes. Now, Tottenham fans have responded – hopeful their side will get Traore.
Spanish newspaper AS reports that Tottenham are eyeing a move to sign Traore this summer. Of course, the Spain international worked under Nuno Espirito Santo at Wolves after the now-Tottenham gaffer brought him to the club from Middlesbrough. He struggled to find his best form last term.

Tottenham fans discuss Traore, as Wolves eye Guedes
But in 2019-20, Traore had a hand in 18 goals – scoring six and creating 12. That is the kind of form that Nuno is capable of getting out of him – and Spurs are now preparing a £34million offer. Wolves have already identified their replacement, according to the report, in Portuguese star Guedes.
Unsurprisingly from a Wolves angle, Guedes is a client of super agent Jorge Mendes – who has massive ties with the Midlands club. Guedes is likely to cost a smaller figure so a move would see Wolves make profit. But Tottenham fans want Traore signed, as Wolves eye Guedes to replace him.
