Tottenham Hotspur are one of the clubs interested in Fenerbahce striker Vedat Muriqi. According to Turkish source Sabah, Spurs sent scouts to watch Muriqi in action on Saturday.
Muriqi is a Kosovo international and his country beat the Czech Republic on Saturday afternoon. Tottenham scouts would have seen Muriqi netting Kosovo’s equaliser on the way to a 2-1 win.
Spurs could watch Muriqi in action tonight too. The 25-year-old, who has scored twice in three games for Fenerbahce, will start as a centre-forward against England in the Euro qualifying match.
Muriqi vs. Maguire

Kosovo will be aiming to cause an upset tonight when they take on the World Cup semi-finalists. With Harry Kane at one end, Spurs fans could get a glimpse of the future at the other end as Muriqi will be up front. The £18m-rated striker will take on the world’s most expensive defender in Harry Maguire.
The 6ft 4in physical centre-forward is not only a Spurs target, though. Italian trio Fiorentina, Lazio and Napoli are also keen. But Tottenham have sent representatives to check on the Kosovan star, who is excelling in Turkey.
Here are several tweets from Tottenham fans discussing this transfer rumour.
