Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld has posted a picture of himself on Twitter ahead of his international matches.
Alderweireld has a break from his responsibilities with Tottenham as he turns his attention towards the international stage. The Belgium international is now focused on the home clash against San Marino on Thursday and the away trip to Kazakhstan on Sunday.
Both games will help the Belgians qualify for the European Championship in 2020. Alderweireld is ready for action but his social media post drew criticism from some Tottenham fans.

Alderweireld has struggled in recent weeks, shipping seven goals against Bayern Munich and three at Brighton. The 30-year-old’s form has been questionable while Spurs continue to stutter.
Tottenham are in mid-table, out of the EFL Cup (after losing to Colchester) and struggling in the Champions League. This is why a number of fans are frustrated by Alderweireld.
The centre-back posted a picture of himself in a car park carrying his back and captioned it: “Back in [Belgium] for a couple of important #Euro2020 games!” Here are some Spurs fans responding to this tweet.
