Tottenham have been linked with Napoli forward Arkadiusz Milik – and some of the club’s supporters on Twitter have responded with great excitement to claim they would love to see him sign.

The Daily Express reports that Jose Mourinho’s side have been monitoring the striker during the current summer window are are now considering a move for him.

It is understood that the 26-year-old doesn’t want to sign a new deal with Napoli, so the Italian giants are keen to sell him now because he’s entering the final year of his contract.

The report details that he’s a £26million-rated player that would like the opportunity to test himself in the Premier League.

Milik has proven himself to be a decent finisher with 48 goals in 122 appearances for Napoli, while for national side Poland he’s got 14 goals in his 52 senior caps.

He is a left-footed frontman that is great with his build up play and can play the lone role well, plus he’s got the strength that should suit the Premier League and aerial ability.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have made it clear they are desperate to sign a striker to act as back-up to Harry Kane and believe Napoli’s available player is an ideal fit for them.

Despite the fact they have one of the world’s leading forward in Kane, it’s impossible for him to start every game during a hectic schedule and he’s had some injury problems in recent seasons.
