Tottenham fans react as Spurs reportedly leading Arsenal in £30m pursuit

Tottenham are reportedly leading Arsenal in the race to sign Juventus attacker Dejan Kulusevski – and Spurs fans are delighted on Twitter.

Kulusevski, 21, has struggled to make his mark at Juventus since swapping Atalanta for The Old Lady – previously signed by Fabio Paratici.

Clocking up 47 appearances for Juventus last season, the versatile forward had a hand in 14 goals – scoring seven and creating seven more.

But this season, he has had less of an impact under Max Allegri. Just one goal and one assist has come around this season – and a move is possible.

Reports earlier this week stated that Arsenal were keen on signing the Sweden international. It is believed Juventus will sell him for £30million.

However, TuttoMercatoWeb have since reported that Tottenham are leading Arsenal in the race to sign Kulusevski – because of two people.

Kulusevski: Tottenham fans react as Spurs lead Arsenal in race

The report states that Antonio Conte tried to sign Kulusevski at Inter Milan. That shows Conte is an admirer, convincing the Juventus attacker.

Another reason, the second of the two, is that Fabio Paratici signed Kulusevski for Juventus in 2020. Again, a trump card for Spurs.

Tottenham could do with another attacker in the final third, one able to replace Harry Kane up top when the England skipper requires a rest.

Tottenham fans have reacted on to reports that Kulusevski prefers a move to Conte’s side over Arsenal – and many are delighted on Twitter.
