Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been named Manchester United manager on a permanent basis.
The Norwegian was announced by the club on Thursday morning to the delight of the Red Devils faithful.

Solskjaer has been a revelation at Old Trafford since replacing Jose Mourinho back in December.
The former Molde boss has dragged the team to within just two points of the top four, and managed to oversee a comeback victory against Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League to reach the quarter-finals.
You’d be hard pressed to find a United fan unhappy with the decision, and the club will now hope he can continue his good work over the next three years.

Not only were most Manchester United supporters pleased with the news, but Tottenham Hotspur fans as well.
For they have had to contend with continued speculation linking Mauricio Pochettino with the job.
That is sure to die down now that Solskjaer has been confirmed as the new permanent manager.
Tottenham fans react
Tottenham fans took to Twitter to air their feeling about Solskjaer’s appointment and as expected, most were simply relieved that it looks like Pochettino will be staying at their club beyond the summer:
