Simon Jordan told TalkSPORT over the weekend that he believes Tottenham Hotspur could agree a deal to sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace this summer – and Spurs fans have urged their club to sign the Ivory Coast ace.
Zaha, 27, has struggled during the 2019-20 campaign – coinciding with Palace’s disappointing finish. He scored just four goals all season, as Palace managed just a point from their final eight Premier League matches.
Following Sunday’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham, Palace manager Roy Hodgson confirmed that Zaha is desperate to leave Selhurst Park this summer and the former Manchester United ace is looking to secure a move.
Former Palace owner Jordan stated he can see Tottenham signing Zaha in the coming weeks, and claimed that he reckons Zaha is in the “price category” of players that Spurs supremo Daniel Levy is looking at.

“He is on £130,000 a week which in Palace’s terms, is very expensive. He wants to go. I could see him going to Tottenham. He is in the price category that Daniel [Levy] might be willing to spend,” Jordan said.
It is not the first summer in which Zaha has attempted to leave Palace. Last summer, the Ivory Coast international almost joined Everton only for the two clubs to fail to agree a fee. Everton signed Alex Iwobi, instead.
The Times recently claimed that Zaha could be available for as little as £40million with Palace expected to finally give in and bring in some cash for their star player. Spurs fans reacted to Jordan’s comments.
