Some Tottenham Hotspur supporters have been reacting to comments made by Ryan Sessegnon about potentially following in the footsteps of superstar Gareth Bale.
The summer signing from Fulham is eyeing a rise similar to that of the Welshman with the north Londoners, having already been compared to the Real Madrid man by fans and pundits.
Bale started out as a full-back, before moving to play in more attacking positions.

The star left Spurs in 2013 for £85 million (BBC Sport), which was a transfer record at the time.
He’s gone on to win 13 major trophies with Real, including four Champions League titles.
Speaking to The Football Daily, Sessegnon said of Bale: “He was one of the players I looked up to when I was younger. He has attributes that I want to add to my game.
“In terms of the attacking mentality on the left flank to run in behind, to dribble the ball, I try to add a bit of that into my game.

“If I could be as great as he has become, then that would be a massive achievement.”
Asked how far off Bale he was, Sessegnon admitted he is ‘so far off’, adding he is still young with a lot of improvements to make.
Tottenham fans react
Sessegnon’s comments appear to have gone down quite well with most Spurs fans, who have hailed his attitude on social media:
