Tottenham fans react as reports claim Dele Alli will start in Europa League

Dele Alli is in line for a recall to the Tottenham starting line-up tonight as Jose Mourinho’s men face Wolfsberger in the Europa League.

The 24-year-old has found himself way out of contention under the Tottenham boss and is facing a fight for his future.

He was linked with a move to PSG during the January transfer window but nothing came to fruition and he remains at Spurs.

According to the Daily Telegraph, it is thought the £100,000-a-week player will start tonight, with Mourinho looking to shuffle his pack.

Alli has started just six games this season and he will hope to impress his gaffer this evening.

The midfielder has made 236 appearances for Tottenham since arriving at the club, scoring 64 goals and claiming 57 assists.

This season has been a real struggle for him and he’ll be desperate to get a run of games under his belt.

Following the reports suggesting he’s in line for a start this evening, Tottenham fans have taken to Twitter.

Plenty are hoping he can impress sufficiently in order to show Mourinho that he is deserving of more chances.
