Tottenham fans react as report suggests Callum Wilson's asking price
A number of Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports from the Daily Mail this week suggesting that Callum Wilson’s asking price will remain at £30 million this summer.
Wilson has been linked with an immediate return to the Premier League following Bournemouth’s relegation. He scored eight goals last season, while he scored 14 and provided nine assists the year before.

The Daily Mail claimed that the 28-year-old is one of the attacking options Spurs plan to target this summer. However, his asking price looks set to be an issue.

The Mail notes that Jose Mourinho is working with a tight budget during this window. And Bournemouth are reportedly unwilling to let Wilson leave on the cheap with the Cherries valuing the forward at £30 million.

And for many Tottenham fans, that has set the alarm bells ringing. Several have insisted that Spurs need to look elsewhere as they do not believe that Wilson would justify a £30 million fee, particularly as he is surely going to play a backup role to Harry Kane.
Meanwhile, some have backed Daniel Levy to get Bournemouth to change their stance. Levy is, of course, known for being a fantastic negotiator.
And thus, some Tottenham fans are hopeful that Wilson can still be signed for significantly less.
Here is how some of the Tottenham supporters have reacted to the reports…
