Tottenham fans are eager for Davinson Sanchez to remain with the club following reports that the Colombian international could leave this summer.

According to The Daily Mail, the former Ajax centre-back could make way for new defensive signings this summer, with Celtic’s Ismaila Soro and Lyon defender Joachim Andersen two potential targets in the upcoming transfer window, which is likely to be a busy one for the north London club.

Sanchez joined Tottenham in the summer of 2017 for a then club-record fee of £42m according to BBC Sport, yet the 24-year-old centre-back has stagnated in his development since joining Spurs and was not favoured by Jose Mourinho, who was sacked last week. Yet despite this, some supporters on social media were eager for the defender to remain with the Premier League side.
