Tottenham fans have taken to social media following reports that former RB Leipzig manager Ralf Rangnick is on the list of potential managers to succeed Jose Mourinho.
The Athletic report that the current head of sport and development for Red Bulls network of football teams is one of a handful of figures who are being considered to take over the full-time manager role at Tottenham, with Fulham boss Scott Parker and Athletic Bilbao head coach Marcelino also being listed as candidates for the position.

Rangnick has been a key figure in the growth of the Red Bull brand in the world of football as well as a coach who has been credited for being the main inspiration behind some of Germany’s best managers in recent years as reported by ESPN, such as Thomas Tuchel, Jurgen Klopp and Julian Nagelsmann.
Although Rangnick hasn’t managed since 2019, Tottenham fans on social media were surprised to see his name amongst the list of candidates reported, and some were keen for the club to sign up the former Leipzig manager.
