A report by 90min claims that Carlo Ancelotti and Nuno Espirito Santo are wanted by Tottenham if they decided to part with boss Jose Mourinho if he is sacked during the summer.

Spurs defeated Aston Villa 2-0 at the weekend to end a turbulent week which saw them lose to Arsenal and Dinamo Zagreb.

Recent results have sparked speculation over the future of the Portuguese boss and now potential successors are emerging in reports.

Ancelotti has led Everton to the brink of securing a return to European football. The Toffees are eighth in the league but do have a game in hand on the teams above them.

They were beaten in the FA Cup by Manchester City at the weekend but in large the season is going relatively well.

Espirito Santo has taken Wolves from the Championship and established the club as a top-flight outfit.

His team sits 13th in the division and he too is casting admiring glances from Tottenham ahead of the summer.
