Paulo Dybala starred for Juventus on Sunday evening as Maurizio Sarri’s side produced an excellent display to beat Inter Milan in the Derby d’Italia 2-1 – and Tottenham fans have reacted to his performance on Twitter.
Dybala, 25, was linked with a move to the Premier League in the summer. It was believed the 25-time Argentina international almost put pen to paper on a deal with Manchester United, only for that to fall through at an advanced stage.
The former Palermo star almost moved to Spurs, but Football London claim that both teams were frustrated in their pursuit of the striker – as his image rights had third-party ownership, while Dybala wanted an enormous £350,000 a week.

The Guardian claimed Spurs had to pay £70million to land Dybala, and he showed why against Antonio Conte’s impressive Inter side with an early goal for Juve. Picking the ball up on the left, he lashed home an effort that took most by surprise.
Dybala’s involvement did not stop there. He was unlucky not to score a second as he narrowly volleyed an effort over the bar from a tight angle, before playing Cristiano Ronaldo in to score – only for the goal to be disallowed.
Lautaro Martinez equalised for Inter and it was Dybala’s fellow countryman, Gonzalo Higuain that scored with his left foot. Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter to Dybala’s display, bemoaning their side’s inability to sign him in the summer.
