Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to claims Hertha Berlin want to land Moussa Sissoko on loan.

The claim was made by Bild this morning, who report the club are ‘desperate’ to get midfielders into the club before the international transfer window deadline.

They have already signed Matteo Guendouzi on loan from Arsenal, and they’ve also been linked with Marko Grujic of Liverpool.

But Spurs’ midfield dynamo is also supposedly a target for the Bundesliga out, who are seeking to get back in the Champions League.

Sissoko has been a key player for Spurs over the past 18 months or so.

The Frenchman struggled initially upon signing for the club from Newcastle United.

But things started to click for him once Mousa Dembele left, allowing him more opportunities to shine.

At the moment though, competition for places in midfield at Spurs is huge, and the 30-year-old – who Tottenham reportedly valued at around £18 million (Daily Star) in August – has began the 2020/21 season on the fringes.

He may no longer be a nailed on starter, but a lot of Spurs fans on social media have been well against the idea of Sissoko leaving to join Hoffenheim on loan:
