Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly put up a £21.5million asking price for defender Eric Dier amid reports that Roma and Jose Mourinho are keen to take the England defender to the Serie A – and Spurs fans have responded.
Dier, 27, has been a regular in the Tottenham side this season – with him and Mourinho renowned for having a close relationship born out of the fact Dier speaks Portuguese and only returned to English football from Sporting Lisbon.
The England international, though, has come in for plenty of criticism this season. Even on Saturday, he was probably at fault for all three of Leeds United’s goals as Marcelo Bielsa’s side produced a surprise 3-1 win.

Italian website Forza Roma have claimed that Spurs are willing to sell Dier to Roma and Mourinho, with the Spurs defender added to a long list of Premier League players eyed by Mourinho. Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg is an option, too.
That is according to a report from Gazzetta Dello Sport, who also name Carlos Vinicius, Nelson Semedo, Rui Patricio, Anwar El Ghazi, Ricardo Pereira and plenty more as options for the ex-Chelsea, Manchester United and Inter boss.
The latest report from Forza Roma also states that Spurs will be willing to sell for a fee in the region of £21.5million – and Spurs fans have responded to the news that they could bring in a significant amount of cash for the defender.
