Tottenham fans react as Mauricio Pochettino secures stunning Champions League win
Mauricio Pochettino arguably produced the result of his Paris Saint-Germain managerial spell on Tuesday night as the French side earned an excellent 4-1 win over Barcelona at the Nou Camp – and Tottenham fans have reacted.
Pochettino returned to the dugout with PSG at the beginning of January following the club’s decision to remove Thomas Tuchel – who has since moved to Chelsea. Pochettino played for PSG during his playing career.
Though he has already lifted silverware with PSG – the 2020 Trophee Des Champions – Pochettino masterminded his best result since taking over, recording his tenth win in 12 league and cup outings, in the process.

Indeed, PSG came from behind after a Lionel Messi to beat Ronald Koeman’s side 4-1 on the night. Kylian Mbappe stole the headlines, scoring a sensational hat-trick – the third seeing him curl a beautiful effort into the top corner.
On-loan striker Moise Kean, who has impressed following his move from Everton, also got on the score sheet with a close-range header that Marc-Andre ter Stegen could not keep out. It saw PSG earn a 4-1 away win.
Tottenham supporters have reacted on Twitter to the news that Pochettino and PSG earned a brilliant win in the Champions League – and many are frustrated, given their side’s lack of form under current boss Jose Mourinho.

We aren’t the same.

Pochettino back in a heartbeat. He was one of us. And hopefully in his heart he’ll always be one of us – because whilst he was here he absolutely got what we are about as a club. Graham and Ramos won Carling Cups. Their achievements don’t even compare. #COYS #THFC

This is what Pochettino can do with a good team. It genuinely infuriates me how little we backed him because this guy has unlimited potential.

Well done pochettino, I can believe we got rid of him for what we have now….

Hate myself for ever doubting Pochettino. Everything that was going wrong was 100% down to Levy and ENIC.
Kills me watching PSG while we languish with the dinosaur.
