Manchester United have reportedly approached Mauricio Pochettino over a move to hire the Argentine manager and replace Ole Gunnar Solskjaer amid some dismal United form – and Tottenham Hotspur supporters have reacted on Twitter.
United have won just one of their last four games – drawing 0-0 with Chelsea, beating Leipzig 5-0 but suffering poor defeats to Arsenal and then Istanbul Basaksehir on Wednesday. United were a laughing stock defensively last time out.
Solskjaer has been heavily criticised during his time as United manager and with the club sitting in 15th place in the Premier League – it is easy to understand why. Pochettino has now been approached, as per the Manchester Evening News.

The Argentine has been out of a job for the best part of a year since being replaced by ex-Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho. It is believed Tottenham will not be due compensation, as a clause for such a fee expired in May.
United are reluctant to sack Solskjaer but Wednesday’s loss to a side that boasted veterans Martin Skrtel, Demba Ba and ex-United defender Rafael has swayed them. It remains to be seen what Pochettino chooses to do.
But Spurs fans have responded on Twitter to the reports that United have approached Pochettino and many are saddened to see their former manager join one of their closest rivals – if such a move was to go ahead.
