Fernando Llorente knows throughout his Tottenham career he will always be playing second fiddle to Harry Kane up front but he has made some vital contributions this season.
He struggled when tasked with replacing Kane earlier this term, but once he got his form and fitness together, he was able to net against Chelsea in the EFL Cup semi-final, as well as the third goal in the Champions League last 16 first leg victory over Borussia Dortmund last month.
The Spaniard, who Spotrac claim earns £75,000 a week, will not expect to start against Manchester City in the last eight of the same competition tonight but the club have confirmed on Twitter that he has returned to training ahead of the tie, after struggling with concussion.

And perhaps with their tongue in cheek, Spurs fans greeted the return to training of the towering striker with glee.
He has become a bit of a cult figure because of how hard he works for the side despite the unenviable task of replacing Kane and the supporters seem keen to have him back in the fold.
