Tottenham could re-enter the race to sign Norwich City youngster Max Aarons when the transfer window opens in the summer, according to Eurosport, and supporters have been reacting on Twitter.

Spurs’ interest wavered when Jose Mourinho was in charge, with the former boss reportedly keen to sign a taller right-back than the England under-21 star.

Despite the youngster’s tender years he boasts plenty of experience with the Canaries and has helped them to promotion back to the Premier League during 2020/21.

Aarons is valued at £30 million by his current club and that is likely to alert several clubs towards his services. Arsenal and Everton have both been linked with a move in the past.

The right-back has 11 caps for the England under-21 ranks and it’s pretty fair to say that he’s set for a bright future in the game. At 21, he has years ahead of him but does have 129 appearances at first-team level to his name.

Tottenham fans seem quite receptive to Aarons checking in, although they do seem unsure over whether the reports will bear any fruit when the window comes around.

Here is what the Spurs fan base is saying on Twitter following the links to Aarons.
