Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to the news that Chelsea midfielder N’Golo Kante selected Moussa Sissoko as his pick for the 2019 French Player of the Year.
The award has actually already been won – by none other than Paris Saint-Germain superstar Kylian Mbappe (France Football).

The award is voted for by former winners of the France Football gong, with the likes of Zinedine Zidane, Patrick Vieira and Thierry Henry all having their say.
Kante, who won the award in 2017, did not plump for the popular Mbappe as his top choice, instead opting for fellow Premier League midfielder Sissoko (reported by football.london), who has largely had a fantastic year at Spurs.
The former Newcastle United ace enjoyed a brilliant renaissance at the club earlier this year after a tough first couple of seasons following a £30 million transfer (BBC Sport).

He became key following the departure of Mousa Dembele in January, replacing the energy, mobility and aggression of the Belgian.
He certainly made an impression on Kante, who is one of the best all-action midfield players in world football and also cost £30 million (BBC Sport).
The dynamo then picked another Spurs player Hugo Lloris in second, and Mbappe in third.
