Tottenham fans react as Jose Mourinho’s men draw Wolfsberger in Europa League

Tottenham have been drawn to face Wolfsberger from Austria in the last 32 of the Europa League.

The first leg will take place on Thursday 18th February in Austria with the return game a week later at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Currently, the Austrians sit in seventh place in the Bundesliga and have lost five league games already this season.

They did come through a tough Europa League group including Feyenoord, Dinamo Zagreb and CSKA Moscow, however.

Tottenham progressed having topped a group featuring Royal Antwerp, LASK and Ludogorets.

Things are on the up under Jose Mourinho.

Tottenham are currently top of the Premier League and face a mouthwatering clash with Liverpool on Wednesday night.

The two sides are level on points and the game promises to be an absolute classic.

Mourinho will want to bring silverware to Tottenham and there is real optimism that a trophy can be won this season.

The Portuguese boss has tasted success in the Europa League previously and Spurs will have to be considered contenders.

Following Tottenham’s draw, supporters have been reacting and it would seem plenty are pleased.

Spurs could have drawn far better opposition than the Austrians and they should prevail.
