Harry Winks may reportedly consider his Tottenham future in the January transfer window – and some of the club’s fans on Twitter have responded by claiming his exit could make sense for all parties.
According to the Telegraph, Winks could look at his circumstances in the New Year if he can’t earn more minutes.
The 24-year-old midfielder has played twice already for England during the current international break, but has found it difficult in recent times at Spurs.
He’s played nine games across all competitions so far this season for the North London club, albeit he’s not played a single minute in three previous Premier League games and has slipped out of the best XI.
The central midfielder is struggling to fight off competition from the likes of Pierre-Emile Hobjerg, Giovani Lo Celso, Moussa Sissoko and Tanguy Ndombele.
Winks has played 152 first-team games for Spurs since he came through the academy and he was a regular starter last season under manager Jose Mourinho, but is stuck in a bit of a rut right now.

A selection of Spurs supporters on social media have suggested that it may be good for the England international to leave in the New Year.
