Tottenham fans react as Harry Kane names price Daniel Levy could sell him for
Harry Kane has told The Overlap on YouTube that Tottenham Hotspur supremo Daniel Levy might want to sell him this summer if an offer of £100million comes to the surface – and Spurs fans have reacted to his naming of a price.
Kane, 27, has reportedly informed the Spurs hierarchy that he wants to leave the club this summer. Reports emerged earlier in the week that both Manchester clubs are interested in Kane, as are Chelsea and talks have been held.
The England skipper has enjoyed another wonderful season on a personal level – having a hand in 48 goals during 48 games – but Kane has not been matched by his Tottenham teammates. His future is a massive talking point.
Speaking to Gary Neville on The Overlap during a round of golf, Kane stated that he wants to have a conversation with Levy – and stated that Levy may want to sell, because he will not be worth £100million in two or three years.
“He might want to sell me. He might be thinking, if I could get £100million for you – then why not. I’m not going to be worth that in the next two or three years. I hope we can have a good honest conversation,” Kane said.
His comments are somewhat surprising, given that the majority of reports state his asking price is in the region of £150million. Should Tottenham and Levy sell for Kane for £100million, they would be leaving themselves short.
Spurs fans responded to Kane’s latest comments regarding his future and the possibility of Levy selling him for £100million – and many think he is not trying to “dictate” his exit fee.
He's worth more than that, that's the figure City want him for.
If he isn't going to be worth that in the next 2 or 3 seasons teams will move on because it will equate to his quality and output dropping on the pitch.
That statement is as detrimental to Kane as it is to Levy.

Coutinho was half the player and went for £142m, if you think you’re leaving for £100m I hope someone else is managing your money 😂

😂😂😂£100m, is he having a laugh?? Does he even know how Levy operates?? He'd be short changing us by at least £50m. If nobody can afford or wants to pay the price then he stays.

Even if Harry does want to leave (and has every right to do so given how we've failed him), 100M isn't even sniffing what we'd need to sell him IMO. More like 200M as a starting point https://t.co/sAXkcBoHNK
