Tottenham fans react as Gareth Bale is spotted on training ground

Tottenham pulled off a coup when they landed Gareth Bale on loan last month and it would appear he’s edging closer to match fitness.

The Real Madrid forward headed back to Tottenham for the 2020/21 campaign after falling down the pecking order at the Bernabeu.

He has posted some pictures on Twitter this afternoon that appear to suggest he is edging closer to making his second debut for the club.

Bale isn’t expected to be back until after the international break but nonetheless, Tottenham supporters are excited at the fact he is back out on the training pitch.

The Wales international made 203 appearances for the club earlier in his career, scoring 56 goals and registering 58 assists.

He left for Real Madrid and during his time with Los Blancos lifted no fewer than four Champions League titles.

Spurs fans will hope his experience and winning mentality can help lead them towards a trophy or two during his time at the club.

His record at Madrid was pretty astounding, scoring 105 goals in 268 appearances, despite often finding himself out of favour.
