Eberechi Eze starred for QPR but failed to prevent Brentford from winning all three points at Loftus Road on Monday night – and Tottenham Hotspur fans have reacted to the youngster’s display.
A brace from Ollie Watkins and a penalty from Said Benrahma was too much for QPR despite having home advantage. Grant Hall scored the only goal of the game for Mark Warburton’s side, who struggled to cope with Brentford’s attacking prowess.
Joining QPR’s youth set-up from Millwall on a free back in 2016, Eze has broken into QPR’s senior side over the past couple of seasons and has since played 78 times for the London-based second-tier side.

This season, though, he is beginning to show his best form – having a hand in 10 goals during his 14 league games. He has scored six himself, including a brace against Hull City – as well as laying on four assists.
His corner was headed in by Hall on Monday night to give QPR parity before Benrahma scored and Watkins doubled his tally. But the attacker, who was used on the left flank, showed glimpses to suggest a move could be in the offing soon.
Football London claim Tottenham and a number of other sides are monitoring Eze and would have been impressed with his Monday night outing – and Spurs fans reacted on Twitter to his display.
