Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly willing to sell Christian Eriksen for around £17million this month if interested parties such as Manchester United, Inter Milan or Real Madrid choose to table such an offer – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
Italian outlet CalcioMercato have claimed that Daniel Levy is looking to cash in on Eriksen over the next four weeks, rather than lose him for nothing in the summer. Eriksen has entered the final six months of his current deal.
The report claims that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s United are interested in the former Ajax man, but he will face competition in luring the Dane to Old Trafford. Inter Milan are interested, as are Real Madrid who continue to be linked with Eriksen.
Previous reports had claimed that Spurs chairman Daniel Levy would be willing to accept offers in the region of £40million, but it is now clear that the Spurs supremo is desperate to get him off the books this month and will go as low as £17million.
Tottenham fans have reacted to the reported news that Eriksen could leave the club on the cheap in the next few weeks, and many are just desperate to see the back of the playmaker who has not performed to his usual standard this season.
