Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ‘trying’ to sign Juventus attacker Paulo Dybala after coming within a whisker of landing the Argentine in 2019, as he enters the final year of his Juve contract – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports.

Dybala, 27, is likely to be sold in a cut-price transfer given his contract situation and that has seen Tottenham re-enter the market to sign Dybala. CalcioMercato claim Levy and Spurs are ‘really trying’ to sign Dybala, who has struggled this season.

Just three goals and 16 appearances have come Dybala’s way, with Andrea Pirlo preferring the likes of Alvaro Morata and Cristiano Ronaldo. It looks unlikely that the former Palermo man will remain at Juventus beyond the summer.

The report states Juve want him sold and Spurs are trying hard to land the attacker – and that image rights, which scuppered a move last time, are no longer an issue. The Sun claim he currently warns £125,000 a week at Juve, but is likely to want more.

Tottenham fans have reacted to the reports that their club are trying hard to sign Dybala in the coming weeks, and many are keen to see Levy and the North London club finally get their man – two years after they came so close to doing so.
