Tottenham fans react as club reportedly told that 29-year-old is available for just £6m

Tottenham Hotspur are said to be monitoring Real Madrid playmaker Isco ahead of a possible summer move – but could face competition from Arsenal. It is believed Real Madrid will let him go for just £6million. Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reports about Isco.

Isco, 29, has struggled over the past 12 months at Real Madrid – playing just 29 times during 2020-21 and failed to score a single goal. The 38-time Spain international only laid on two assists in that time. Now with less than a year remaining on his contract, Real Madrid are open to his exit.

The Mirror claim that Tottenham and Arsenal are on red alert as a decision will be made by Real Madrid next week. The belief is that if any club wants to sign him, £6million plus add-ons will be needed to nab his signature. A bargain fee for a player that was once worth a whole lot more.

What are Tottenham fans saying about Isco?

Tottenham have numerous options like Isco. Gio Lo Celso just helped Argentina to win Copa America, while Dele Alli, Tanguy Ndombele and others can play in a similar role. Isco can also be used out wide or even as part of a three-man midfield. His versatility could tempt suitors.

Certainly, Tottenham are keen. Isco, who earns £230,000 a week (Football Espana) at Madrid, could be just the kind of big-name signing that gets Spurs fans back on board – after a tricky managerial search. Tottenham fans have given their verdicts on Twitter, and many want him signed.
