Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to reports of interest in Juventus defender Merih Demiral.
Tuttojuve have claimed that Spurs and Everton are both keen on potentially signing the Turkey international, with both clubs having lodged bids of €30 million/£27 million.
Juve have rejected these proposals, and it seems Andrea Pirlo is keen to make more use of the player in Turin than Maurizio Sarri did.

Spurs are currently in the market for a new central defender, with Jan Vertonghen having left at the end of his contract.
The name that is on most Tottenham fans’ lips right now is Milan Skriniar of Inter Milan.
The Slovakian defender is valued at around £55 million by his club (Guardian), and it could well be that the North Londoners become priced out of a deal.
Demiral would surely come as a cheaper alternative to Skriniar.
The star only joined Juve last year, but had a really difficult first year with an ACL injury not helping his cause.

He’s made just nine appearance for the club so far, and Tottenham may ultimately feel there’s a better chance of getting him than Skriniar, who is a crucial starter for Inter.
On social media, Spurs fans were very open to the idea of the talented Demiral joining their club:
