Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly rivalling two other Premier League sides in pursuit of RB Leipzig loanee Patrik Schick with the Bundesliga club unlikely to sign him permanently – and Spurs supporters have reacted on Twitter.
Schick, 24, has been in excellent form for Leipzig since joining the club on loan from Roma last summer. He has netted 10 goals in 20 Bundesliga outings, even netting three in the last four outings – but Leipzig look unlikely to buy him.
Italian newspaper Gazzetta Dello Sport have claimed that Roma want as much as £24million for Schick in order to avoid a loss on the Czech Republic international. Leipzig had the chance to land Schick in instalments, but that clause has expired.

The report states that Tottenham Hotspur are interested in bringing Schick to north London this summer as cover for Harry Kane, though it remains to be seen if Schick would want to join Spurs as the club’s back-up centre-forward.
The piece from Italy also claims that both Newcastle United and Everton are also considering a move for the striker, with all three English clubs asking Roma about the striker. He has a contract with the Serie A side until the summer of 2022.
Tottenham supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club want to bring Schick to the club, with many perhaps already aware of the player – with CalcioMercato claiming in 2017 that Mauricio Pochettino had agreed a deal for Schick.
