Tottenham Hotspur are one of three clubs to have reportedly made an enquiry to sign on-loan Borussia Dortmund right-back Achraf Hakimi from Real Madrid – and Spurs fans have responded on Twitter.
Hakimi, 21, joined Dortmund on loan from Real Madrid in the summer of 2018 and has remained at the Bundesliga club for the past two seasons – clocking up 70 appearances in all competitions for the German giants.
The Moroccan has clocked up 12 goals in that time from the right side of the defence, and has also laid on 17 assists. Certainly, he is considered one of the best up-and-coming right-backs in Europe – scoring nine times this season.
Football website 90Min claim Tottenham want him as Serge Aurier remains somewhat a liability. Chelsea and Manchester United are also keen on the African defender, with The Sun claiming he has a £50million exit clause.

Hakimi is highly-rated at Real where he has played 17 times at senior level and even scored on one occasion. Paris Saint-Germain, Inter Milan and Juventus are also keen, while Dortmund want him permanently.
Indeed, Dortmund captain Marco Reus told Bundesliga’s website: “He’s incredibly fast. He’s always a weapon. Achraf is very, very important for us and that he can play in several different positions.”
Tottenham fans reacted to the reported news that the club are interested in signing Hakimi and have made an enquiry over a move to land the defender – and many think he would be an excellent signing for the club.
