Tottenham fans react as club reportedly looking to raid Watford for South American star

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly rivalling Manchester United and Barcelona in pursuit of Watford left-back Pervis Estupinan who is shining on loan at La Liga side Osasuna – and Spurs fans have reacted to the link on Twitter.

Estupinan, 22, joined Watford back in 2017 from Udinese – given the father-son connection between both sides. However, the one-time Ecuador international is yet to make his senior debut for Watford, having instead been linked elsewhere.

The left-sided flyer has been on loan at Mallorca and Almeria, and last summer joined La Liga side Osasuna in their bid to prevent relegation from the top flight. He has been crucial in helping Osasuna defy expectation, sitting in a lofty 11th place.

Missing just one of Osasuna’s 27 La Liga outings, Estupinan has laid on four assists and even scored in a 3-1 win over Valencia. It is believed Estupinan could remain at Osasuna beyond the end of the current season.

However, Spanish outlet AS claim that could change this summer as Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United, Barcelona and potentiall Atletico Madrid could look to sign the left-back in the coming months.

Tottenham supporters have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that Estupinan could be brought to Tottenham, with Danny Rose expected to leave the club. Many feel he would be a decent signing, while others would rather youngster Dennis Cirkin.
