Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly identified West Bromwich Albion goalkeeper Sam Johnstone as an option if Mauricio Pochettino looks to raid his old side in the coming weeks – and Spurs fans have responded on Twitter.
Lloris, 34, is in his ninth season at Tottenham – with 344 appearances for the North London club already under his belt. But it could be coming to an end in the coming months, as Pochettino looks likely to take over at PSG.
The 117-time France international has entered the final 18 months of his Spurs contract and Pochettino might be on the lookout for a new goalkeeper to replace Keylor Navas. Indeed, The Sun say he wants Lloris in Paris.

The report also claims that Spurs are preparing for such an eventuality, targeting two Premier League goalkeepers. Previously linked, Manchester United’s back-up stopper Dean Henderson is said to be a target.
However, England stopper Henderson is not the only option. That is because Sam Johnstone – a player Mourinho sold to West Brom for £6.5million (E&S) while United manager in 2018 – is being considered by Spurs.
The goalkeeper has impressed since the Baggies returned to the Premier League, despite shipping five to Leeds United last time out. Spurs fans have responded on Twitter, and many feel he would be a good addition if Lloris left.
