Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to raid Leicester City and sign winger Demarai Gray after the English ace entered the final 12 months of his contract at the King Power – and Spurs fans have reacted on Twitter.
Gray, 24, has struggled to be afforded regular game time at Leicester under Brendan Rodgers this season. He has clocked up 27 appearances in all competitions – but only eight of those have been from the start.
Despite coming on to the field of play as a substitute 19 times, Gray has still managed to have a hand in eight goals. Since the restart, the former Birmingham ace has had a hand in two crucial Leicester goals.
Against Arsenal, the English ace played a superb low pass across the six-yard box for Jamie Vardy to secure a late equaliser against the Gunners. He then scored on Thursday night in a 2-0 win over Sheffield United.

The Times state that Spurs expect to complete the signing of Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg despite a bid from Everton, and it is claimed Gray will be targeted next – with both players in the final 12 months of their contract.
The report also states that while Gray could be signed on the cheap given his contract situation, it is believed that a move to land Gray could spell the end of Erik Lamela’s future at Tottenham.
Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that their club are interested in completing a deal to sign Gray from Leicester – and some believe he would be a good addition to the north London club.
