Tottenham fans react as club post encouraging video of Tanguy Ndombele

Tanguy Ndombele has enjoyed an excellent start to the 2020-21 campaign after struggling in his first season since his club-record Tottenham Hotspur move – and Spurs fans are growingly excited about the midfielder, after a video posted on Twitter.

Ndombele, 23, joined Spurs last summer for a club-record fee from Lyon and instantly hit the ground running – scoring against Aston Villa on his debut. But some indifferent performances followed, and the France star struggled for momentum.

The switch from Mauricio Pochettino and Jose Mourinho did not help, with Ndombele having a meeting over his game time with Daniel Levy in the Amazon Prime documentary. However, this season, it is a different story.

Two goals in seven games, including excellent displays against Southampton and then Manchester United has seen Ndombele’s confidence grow. Spurs continued that momentum, with a video of Ndombele from training.

The midfielder showed some lovely touches and scored a goal in training, but it also shows the France international smiling and full of confidence. The France ace seems transformed and Mourinho deserves credit for remaining patient under him.

Tottenham supporters have reacted on Twitter to the video, and many are delighted to see their midfielder shining in training – including a nutmeg on former Leeds winger Jack Clarke. One fans Tweeted: “He feels like a new signing”.
