Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting to surprise rumours the club could move for Atletico Madrid winger Thomas Lemar.
Foot Mercato have reported Spurs could swoop for the World Cup winner, who is having a tough time at the Spanish club.

Since joining in the summer, Lemar has made 64 appearances for the club but only scored three goals and made six assists.
It has not been a good return from the Frenchman, who cost a huge £53 million (Guardian) in the summer of 2018.
This term, Lemar has struggled with injury but has been down in the pecking order even when fit, with the likes of Angel Correa and Koke playing the majority of games.
Spurs are said to be keen on a loan move for Lemar, who is also supposedly a target for north London rivals Arsenal.

A move by Spurs for the ex-Monaco man would be a surprise given the wide options Jose Mourinho has at his disposal.
Ryan Sessegnon, Heung-min Son and Lucas Moura are all naturals, while Moussa Sissoko, Erik Lamela and Giovani Lo Celso can all operate out wide too, and then there’s Serge Aurier and Danny Rose who can play as wing-backs.
Tottenham fans react
On the whole, Spurs fans on social media don’t seem too taken by the idea of Lemar signing this month, with the team’s defence more of a concern:
