‘Rather get Vlahovic’: Tottenham fans react to reports of £59m double swoop for McKennie and Kulusevski

For Tottenham fans, the January transfer window is set to be quite an exciting one. The club are expected to back Antonio Conte, while a number of other players could leave as well.

As reported on TBR today, Spurs are said to be working on a double deal for Weston McKennie and Dejan Kulusevski.

Calciomercato have made the claim, suggesting Spurs could sign both players for around £59m in January. Fabio Paratici is thought to be open to the deal, and will use his close ties with Juventus to pull the strings.

Despite both Kulusevski and McKennie being good players, it seems some Tottenham fans aren’t overly excited at the prospect of spending so much on the pair. In fact, over on Twitter, some fans are questioning why Paratici isn’t using those funds to land Dusan Vlahovic.

Vlahovic has been a long-term target for Tottenham. Other clubs, including Arsenal and, coincidentally, Juventus, are also keen on the Serbian. And some Spurs fans pointed out how giving Juve money to move for Vlahovic might not be the smartest play.

As we know, Vlahovic is one of the hottest properties on the European market at the moment.
