Tottenham Hotspur remain reportedly interested in signing Ajax playmaker Donny van de Beek after the Netherlands international remained at his boyhood club in the summer – and Spurs fans are desperate to see him relocate to north London.
Italian outlet FC Inter News claimed Liverpool, Real Madrid, Tottenham, Barcelona, Napoli, Roma and Inter Milan were keen in the summer, but his £70million asking price was not met by any interested sides.
Real Madrid went as high as £61million, but that offer was not deemed enough by Ajax’s hierarchy. He has since remained at Ajax, and now clocked up 150 appearances for the Dutch side despite being just 22 years of age.

The report claims Tottenham remain interested in van de Beek ahead of January and next summer’s window, but may face competition from both Manchester United and Inter Milan. Spurs did sign Tanguy Ndombele in the summer from Lyon.
Van de Beek is renowned for his technical abilities and excellent array of passing. His eye for goal is evident, scoring 34 goals as well as boasting creativity with 29 assists. He has a contract at Ajax until the summer of 2022.
Tottenham fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news that the north Londoners want to sign van de Beek ahead of Manchester United and Inter Milan, and many would love to see the Dutch ace in a Spurs shirt.
