Tottenham fans react as club linked with £70m-rated Federico Chiesa

Tottenham Hotspur have been linked with a big-money move for talented Fiorentina winger Federico Chiesa in the summer transfer window – and Spurs fans are excited on Twitter.

The Daily Mail reported that Spurs are keen on the 21-year-old. However, they would have to splash a whopping £70million to land the player that already has 11 caps for Italy.

Chiesa has been in explosive form from the right flank this season. He has scored 11 goals in all competitions, as well as creating eight more in assists. He has done all that in just 30 league and cup fixtures.

Eye-catching stats for a winger, Mauricio Pochettino has noticed and is said to be interested in bringing Chiesa to north London. But Spurs are not likely to be the only side interested.

The report also claims Juventus and AC Milan are keen, while Chiesa had his heart set on joining fellow countryman Maurizio Sarri at Chelsea. The Blues impending transfer ban has put paid to that.

Tottenham fans have reacted to the news that their club are keen on Chiesa, which would see Spurs smash their transfer record. Many are excited at the prospect of seeing a player such as Chiesa in a Spurs shirt.
