Tottenham fans react as Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger is linked

Tottenham have been linked with a move to sign Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger this week and their supporters have been reacting to the news on Twitter.

The Daily Mail claims both Spurs and West Ham are keen on signing the man who won the World Cup with Germany in 2014.

Rudiger checked in at Stamford Bridge for £29 million from Roma in 2017 and has played 115 times for the Blues.

Tottenham are hoping to land a new centre-back before the deadline on Monday.

Milan Skriniar from Inter is thought to be the number one priority but Rudiger has been earmarked as a fall back option for Spurs.

The 27-year-old has fallen down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge following the arrival of Thiago Silva who has joined from PSG.

He was on the bench for the win over Brighton but hasn’t made the squad in the following four games in all competitions.

Tottenham fans don’t seem overly keen on seeing the £100,000-a-week Rudiger make the trip across London any time soon, however.
