Celtic have reportedly begun talks to sign Tottenham Hotspur goalkeeper Joe Hart this summer. Reports earlier this month claim that Spurs have already told Hart he can go. Tottenham fans have given their verdict on Celtic eyeing Hart on Twitter, and many believe it would be a good move.
Hart, 34, is in the final 12 months of his £52,000-a-week contract (Spotrac) at Tottenham. Having joined the club from Burnley in the summer of 2020, Hart put pen to paper on a two-year deal. But after just 10 appearances in his first season at Spurs, the 75-time England man might be open to leaving.
Football London claim that Hart has been told he can leave Tottenham. Fabio Paratici has brought in Pierluigi Gollini on a loan-to-buy deal, a move that is likely to made permanent – with just 20 games needed to become an obligatory £13million addition. Hart is now third in the pecking order.

What are Tottenham fans saying about Celtic eyeing Hart?
Hart needs a move. He would be battling Alfie Whiteman for the third-choice slot, but Hart is earning a much bigger wage. Paratici would like him off the wage bill in order to make his transfer budget more maneuverable. Celtic could now offer him that chance, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Tottenham fans have had their say on Twitter. Many believe it would be a good move for Celtic this summer, with Spurs needing to get rid of his wages. Hart needs game time and Celtic need a goalkeeper.
